Lombok to Komodo Island Hopping 4D3N

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Departure & Deserted Islands

• Morning : Complimentary shuttle pick-up from key Lombok hubs ( Senggigi,Mataram,or Bangsal Harbor) to be transferred overland to Kayangan Harbor in East Lombok.
• Midday : Board your expedition vessel,meet the crew,and set sail.
• Afternoon : Drop anchor at Kenawa Island,a tiny oasis featuring a grassy hill you can climb for sweeping panoramic views of the sea and Lombok’s Mt.Rinjani.
• Night : Enjoy your first dinner prepared by the on board chef as the boat begins a long overnight cruise eastward along the northern coast of Sumbawa Island.

Day 2 : While Sharks & Waterfall Treks

• Sunrise : Arrive at Saleh Bay ( Sumbawa). Hop into the water to snorkel alongside massive,gentle Whale Sharks congregating around local fishing platform (Gagangs).
• Afternoon : Cruise toward Moyo Island. Take a light jungle trek to the multi – tiered Mata Jitu waterfall to swim in its natural,emerald imestone pools.
• Night : Overnight navigation across the open Sape Strait toward the outer boundaries of the Komodo National Park.

 Day 3 : The Jewels of Komodo National Park

• Early Morning : Wake up under the dramatic volcanic ridges of Padar Island.Hike up the iconic rugged staircase to the summit for the legendary sunrise view overlooking three distinct tri-colored bays ( Pink,black,and white sand beaches.
• Midday : Sail to Loh Pink Beach. Spend a couple of hours swimming,sunbathing,and snorkleing over the vibrant coral reefs right off the vibrant pink shoreline.
• Afternoon : Anchor at Komodo Island ( or Rinca Island).Go on a ranger – led trek through the dry savannas to spot the prehistoric Komodo Dragons in their native habitat.
• Night : Drop anchor in a calm bay near the park to enjoy a relaxed night aboard with the crew.

Day 4 : Marine Encounters to Flores

• Morning : Gear up for a snorkel drift at Manta Point to seek out giant manta rays gliding through the nutrient – rich currents.
• Midday : Visit Manjarte Point or Kelor Island for a final hike up a steep scenic hill and some excellent shallow – reef snorkeling among schools of tropical fish.
• Afternoon : Sail into Labuan Bajo Harbor on Flores Island between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Disembark the vessel where local operators provide a free drop – off to your town hotel or the Komodo Airport ( LBJ).
